It is extremely rich in calcium. The cows at the organic farms freely graze the pastures surrounding by the stream and hills of Samogitia. Was also told the 12 and the 18th months aged cheese can be purchased at several food stored in Hungary.
The origin of the name of cheese is in the Samogitian legend that says … The Džiugas was a giant and a strong warrior, who lived in Samogitia in the old days and protected it against invaders. This could have been the end of the story, but once, he met Austelė – a farmer’s beautiful daughter – fell in love with her and married her. According to Samogitian traditions, after the wedding night the newly-weds must show the guests the cheese that they’ve made. The giant Džiugas and his wife Austelė showed their guests a strong, large and delicious cheese and all guests loved them.
Absolutely not to missed to taste these very delicious cheeses at the Buda Castle Wine Festival- Budapest.

All the films screened in Hungarian language!

Miklós Jancsó DPOB: September.27.1921. Vác – Hungary. Hungarian film director, screenwriter, worthy and excellent artist. He was a two-time Kossuth Prize winner (The Kossuth Award is the highest Hungarian state award for recognition of the cultivation and maintenance of Hungarian culture, named after Lajos Kossuth.) and Béla Balázs Prize-winning (The Béla Balázs Award is the highest state professional honor that can be awarded to filmmakers and television producers. The award goes to those who have demonstrated outstanding creative activity in the field of motion pictures, or who have achieved outstanding artistic and scientific achievements). Jancsó works are characterized by the very unusual long cut, which means continuous recording without cutting. The movement of the characters … even for minutes … gives the cinematic feel, which requires a lot of concentration from all participants.
Since 1988, he has been a titular university professor at the University of Theater and Film. Between 1990 and 1992 he taught at Harvard.

Jancsó died in January 2014 at the age of 92, and last September he would have been 100 years old. Commemorative events were organized in connection with the anniversary. For those who might have missed last year’s screening now will have the opportunity to watch some of his works a year later.
In the 20th century, his style was way before ahead of time. A generation grew up on his movie and just as the coin has two sides … loved his films/hated his films. He was a revolutionary in his own right.

Extended Temporary Exhibition Entitled Alternative Cosmos @ Zsolnay Cultural Quarter – Pécs

Űr exhibition at Pécs

The temporary exhibition titled “ŰR” – SPACE the alternative cosmos has been extended until September, 25. 2022. and awaits those who are thirsty for space experiences in the m21 Gallery of the numerous domestic private collections, or works made especially for this in the form of unique installations. All of the works of art are related to outer space, and there is even a work of art that literally: follows a space probe orbiting the earth, detects its presence and makes it all perceptible to us with artistic means (visual elements and sounds) (Lóránd Széchenyi- Nagy: Kozmikus Frekvensiák – Solar Probe / his site-specific installation M21).
Visitors can also get a taste of the accounts following the landing on the Moon, which questioned and organized the landing on the Moon under artificial conditions. Not to mention the clips, animated films or contemporary TV series that all present the ideas of space from the 60s and 70s, and among which the scientific slide film cannot be missing!
One of the most exciting parts of the exhibition is that visitors can try on Antal Lakner’s Passive Dress installation, which is both surprising and interactive, as the dress stuffed with weights is meant to simulate twice the gravity of the earth, so they can experience what astronauts experience under the weight of the gravitational force on their bodies during a rocket launch they felt.

A special acoustic and visual experience is the video installation by Sándor Vály and Éva Polgár, which records and plays the Milky Way constellation on the organ! But classic works of art and paintings are also not missing from the exhibition, the rooms of which can be approached after the docking (Gyula Várnai’s video installation) through strange sluices (the works of Gryllus Ábris, Balázs Deim, Ottó Vincze and Lajos Csontó) and separated by these for example, the thematic rooms entitled Planet of Observers, Space Museum, Invisible Planets and Domesticated Constellations.

At the end of the exhibition, Lili Pethő‘s cosmic-themed posters move with the help of a mobile phone application, and visitors can even send a message from space, during which they act as astronauts. or they can take a picture together with aliens.

Astronomer László Kiss and László Százados, curator of the exhibition, will give a guided tour during the Szamárfül Festival on August, 27 from 5 p.m. entitled Invisible Planets.

It promises to be an interesting program for families and children to see outer space and the Globe we live in from a different perspective.

A deeply autobiographical feature documentary narrated by the late Grammy® Award winner.

Throughout the documentary Michael reveals two distinct sides of his life: his very public music career and his private personal life and why he turned his back on the rivalry light, the celebrity lifestlye. The “uncut version” of George Michael Freedom’s musical documentary focuses on the defining era in the life and career of the late Grammy-winning artist, which also saw the release of the first installment of the highly successful album, Listen Without Prejudice, and the famous Supreme Court that followed. The lawsuit against the record’s publisher, as well as the death of George Michael’s first love, Anselmo Feleppa … and so in addition to the professional aspects, it is understandably throat-tight.

The film covers the turbulent period after Faith leading up to, during and after the making of his Listen Without Prejudice: Vol 1 album in 1990.

A deeply autobiographical feature documentary narrated by … who else could it be … hearing the late Grammy® Award winner the singer himself … shot before his early death, George took part in every moment of the film’s production, so the film can also be considered a swan song.

George Michael Freedom Uncut is also a brilliant reminder of Michael’s outstanding musical genius during the Wham! years and throughout his solo career.

The film features timeless duets with George’s favorite artists and explores how he influenced the cultural landscape of his generation as one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.
