To-night Robert Davi sings Frank Sinatra in Budapest

Robert Davi Papp László Sport Arena - Budapest

Well February, 2015 was not yesterday, when an update of Robert Davi, singing Frank Sinatra in Budapest was posted here and now coming to the special day, just a reminder for those who still have no evening program for to-day …

Robert Davi has played behind Frank Sinatra all around the world and in the recording studios ever since 1959 in Hollywood.
Now coming along to Budapest, giving a concert at 7.30 p.m. at the Papp Laszló Budapest Sports Arena – District
XIV. Budapest, 2. Stefánia Road. Many folks by now know he is the only one that comes close in having the voice as Frank Sinatra did, but who have not yet heard him singing will find that out this evening. Davi the acting chops, the charisma man, and a legend without coming off as a replicator. He definitely makes the songs his own. Robert will bring his own sophisticated style and considerable charm.

The audience will see a theatrical, emotional, colorful night, not to mention enjoying his phrasing and uniquely superb baritone voice that he blends perfectly. His laid back Italian manner and musicality is out to-night in Budapest.

Davi’s is loved by many for his multifaceted work as an actor and to-night the audience cannot say anything else than his singing was even more awesome!

Hope I didn’t miss anyone to be free this evening and be present at Davi’s concert, so get ready for a classy treat.

Tickets still available on the spot at the ticket booths.

Harvard University rowers meeting Hungarian students in Budapest.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

During the afternoon hours on Wednesday, April, 22. 2015 at the Boathouse Club out on the “Romai” Bayside a gathering of students arrived called by the Harvard Club Hungary.

This special meeting was arranged previously to the Danube Regatta, so that the rower team of the Harvard University can participate  at this event before the competition to be held on Saturday, April, 25. 2015.  At this meeting were present members of the Harvard Club of Hungary. Chief patron Dr. Miklós Tóth – Vice-President of the MOB welcomed the gathered interested students. Kornélia Litke – Academic advisor – Hungarian-American Fulbright Educational Exchange Program Committee,  gave advice on available scholarships to the students present.

As special invited guest  Dr DóraGyőrffy  – (HARVARD ALUMNI MEMBER) – Associate Professor and national record holder in the high jump, who said: Q: “I believe that every man is born, that has a purpose of Life. Their goals continuously have to be discovered, and conscious efforts should be made to accomplish. During the lifetime the goals are subject to change. ”

The teens arriving by interest could hear about the scholarship, get first hand insight into … the secrets or not really … from the experiences by the already granulated students of the  world-famous Harvard University whom arrived to Budapest to participate on Saturday, April, 25. at the Danube Regatta international competition.

The team is a real mixture by nationality … two were from New Zealand, one from United Kingdom, one from Canada and four from United States of America. A part of them graduated students in 2013 and 2014. They one-by-one talked about how they reached the steps to the door to the Harvard University. Said as one, they are luckily and proud they could all come to participate and will compete worthily in the name of their former Harvard University.

The Harvard University’s rowing team does not really have to be introduced and as they all unanimously said they were grateful how their personal coach was by their side from the first minute and along they way. The whole complex … studying, sporty activities are at the fingertips for all the students. As James O’Connor – rower captain Harvard University said: Q.: “The Harvard does not need to set ourselves at a crossroads … do I really want to go to college concentrate on my studies or rowing? Here, both is possible. At the highest possible level.”

On the bottom line …

EDUCATION AND SPORT … IT IS UP TO THE STUDENT OF WHAT HE OR SHE BRING OUT OF IT!

As the press conference ended there was a choice for a voluntary participation  to measure his/her rowing power against Bendegúz Petersburg-MolnárEuropean rower champion, rowing on a special rowing ergo meter bench off  on a 200-meter run. Despite the fact that the candidate was above the fifties, received 100-meter run advantage from Bendegúz and even though he at the finish line rowed in first. Here the victory was not important. Indeed the candidate got slightly sweaty and said at the end it is not so easy to paddle as it seems.

Here are the participating rowers at the Danube Regatta: The Andrássy Gyula German University (AUB), the Corvinus University of Budapest (CUB), the  Budapest Business School (BBS), the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), the  Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the National Public Service University (NCU), the Catholic University (PPKE), the Semmelweis University (SE), the University of Physical Education (TD), the University of Pécs (PTE), the  Széchenyi István University (KAU), the University of Szeged (Szeged),  Two  American universities … the eternal rival teams from the Harvard and the Princeton University!
