The long-awaited day is coming along this year as well, when the stars of world tennis again will holding the rackets and shooting their balls in Budapest at the 7th Tennis Classics. After 6 years in a row of the World’s Classics Tennis players fulfilling the hearts of tennis lovers in Budapest, the 7th year will be about time to show the audience the future’s next generation of high-profile young players.

Upon information at the 7th Tennis Classic 2014 games will be Fabio Fognini, Ernests Gulbis, Milos Raonic and Dominic Thiem. They are all have privileged places in the tennis world rankings, as the Young Titans – may well be Worldwide the next generation of high-profile.

The tournament participants one-by-one are known since some time. The draw of parings has happened already. On the tennis court ground on November, 18.,  the semifinals pairs will be the Canadian – Austrian, Italian – Lithuanian, from the young tennis classics generation.

This year, Budapest welcomes again the great tennis court player Mansour Bahrami and most probably if not for one reason but will be the highlight of the evening the showman of tennis Mansour Bahrami and the Hungarian women’s tennis star Timea Babos  will “battle” for the ball.

THE “RIVE” ARTIST SHIP FINISH HER EUROPEAN LONG ROUTE

RIVE  EUROPEAN  ART SHIP

” RIVE” PROJECT – ARTISTS SHIP – EUROPE DAY – CRUSING EUROPE – 2014.

 August, 22. – October, 19. 2014.

The floating artist ship abroad with art passengers began her journey on August, 22. from Vienna – Austria and her one-month journey ended on September, 18 with the last stop at the port of Ruse – Bulgaria. The final port was on October, 19. at Stuttgart.  On August, 27 the artist ship arrived to the port at Budapest and berthed beside the capital at six cities by the River Danube.

The “Artist Ship” actually started her route from the Black Forest – Germany  and ended her long 2000 kilometers river path at the Black Sea – Bulgaria, crossing through eight countries (Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria), stopping over thirty cities having around 6,000 evening events and daytime workshops.

Prior to the trip, on May, 8- 9. 2014.in connection with the EUROPE DAY, organized by the József Antall Knowledge Center was held a conference as part of a series of events namely: “Cruising Europe!” The upcoming project was extremely welcomed by the interest of young adults and 15 volunteers singed up to be a part in the programs.

The tour from October, 13 to 19 continued by four wheels for four artists following the River Oder, Elbe and Rhine, which provided an opportunity to show the project to the inner areas of Poland and Germany. During the eight-days bus tour, six different cities were visited Warsaw, Poznan, Słubice, Berlin, Cologne and Stuttgart. Partners such as the Collegium Hungaricum in Berlin, Cologne and Stuttgart also presented the program at local schools and outdoor areas. Upon these events the stuff was able to build connections with the municipalities and some partners throughout their journey on land and water. In Hungary joined supporting the program was the Baja Boat Mill Association, the Philips and the Mahart. The strategic partner was the Municipal Goverment of Budapest.  As for professional partners, such as the Serbian Danube Competence Center, the University of Vienna and the Underwater/diving archaeologists Hungarian Association and the Argonaut Research Group joined the project.

The success of the project’s was tangible and as for the future the River Danube really binds nations together, even though they have their own identity.  The RIVE’s chief organizer says the Hungarian Pro Progressione plans involves those already and all new partners interested to join the commitment to create and share international river locations within the Danube Region Strategy, in the frame of art, education, environment, dissemination of information, also in history and archeology.

The RIVE project Danube label is support by the Hungarian and Romanian Ministry of Culture.

NATIONAL RESTAURANT WEEK! – ROLLING NOT JUST IN BUDAPEST BUT THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY BETWEEN MARCH, 19 AND 23. 2014.

Talking about Hungarian food … many miss their Mum’s cooking, needn’t have to be sad, cause most of the restaurants during the National Restaurant Week will prepare their dishes  that will  bring back the home tastes which haven’t been forgotten.

HUNGARY WILL BE IN THE MOOD TO GO ON A RIDE, ENJOYING THE HUNGARIAN AND INTERNATIONAL DISHES DURING THE NATIONAL RESTAURANT WEEK!

To-day, press and media representatives were called to participate at a hearing, held at one of the most beautiful venues in Budapest at the Robinson Timeless Kitchen  since 1989.  A place to visit, not just to eat and drink, cause at the Robinson your other senses are generated as well such as: a breathtaking view of Mother nature’s City Park and  in between the Robinson  a wide pond splits apart the area from the Vajdahunyad Castle, which is at an arm distance to watch the day-goes-by through the restaurant’s wide windows while enjoying the yummy delights.  A venue which cannot be left out to visit by tourists or foreigners staying, living in Budapest.  After this short intro of the Robinson whereabouts, coming back to the topics regarding to the press call whereas,  László Árpádowner Robinson restaurant, Balázs Csapodyowner Kistücsök restaurant, Attila Kaszab – business director Godunov Russian-European restaurants, and Tamás Borbély – owner Borbély Family Winery at  Badacsonytomaj … “A land of fiery wines and volcanic flavors!”  welcomed the press representatives. The Borbély winery won the Hungarian Wine Academy award in 2012 and 2013.  László Árpád spoked about the National Restaurant Week around the World. There are DiningCities beside Hungary around the World in South Africa, Austria,  Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Romania which holds their local national restaurants week specialities. Beside Budapest, throughout the country list of five best Hungarian speech-enhancing wines will be in company. At the Robinson  the meals  will be in company brought from the Borbély Family Winery. Main courses: BBQ spare ribs, Robinson steak potatoes … Pappardelle, gorgonzola and pears, stripes of beef tenderloin … Chicken ”stew”, cottage dumplings, cucumber salad. Desserts: Floating islands … Chocolate cake, dried apricots with vanilla … Robinson profiteer.

Last but not least, after each-and-every dish ,  noble wines  from the Borbély Family Cellars were supplied to the invited press individuals. Must say a grand selection of wines.
