JOIN INTO THE WORLD OF THE NOBILIS PÁLINKA … THE SPIRITS OF SPIRITS!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

A dash of pálinka is like medicine and good to spice up your life!

Kristof Nobilis opened the press meeting by saying, Quote: “The joy of life depends on very little things. The pálinka is a little thing that make the moment memorable. Therefore, I decided to create a pálinka, where I also welcome spices to spice up my daily life. Also what I can by heart recommend to my dearest friends. Probably for many might be strange the name ’Nobilis” of the pálinka brand. It is no else than also my family name. Indeed, everyone in a second may recognize both a family name and also the name of the pálinka. In the brand’s name ”Nobilis” stands by itself for “Nomen est omen” … the best quality pálinka.”  He also spoke of their philosophy of the spirits, Quote: „How we cook our pálinka? We begin in our cooking by going out to the orchards. Examining the growth of the fruit in their early age. Keeping our fingers cross not to have the icy cool nights to avoid freezing of the buds during the springtime. Only the most healthy, ripe and nectar-rich fruits are gathered and off they go to the distillery.  I am convinced the best fruity taste of a pálinka starts from out on the fruit plantations and not at the distillery … We are incredibly proud of the results that earned gold and silver medals for the Nobilis Pálinka Farm which was at one of the best and most competitive in the world, the  World Spirits Award. The contest this year stated with the participants of 30 countries and 400 Klagenfurt distillations. This was 11th edition of the competition, whereas the Nobilis: Irsai Oliver Grape and the Plum Pálinka both took the gold medals, while the Nobilis: Pear, Quince, Cherry and Apricot was awarded with a silver medal.”

A shower of shinning medal awards fell into the Hungarian Nobilis pálinka distillates. More than 1,400 distillate were present competing with their spirits recently arranged in San Francisco  at the World Spirits Competition. In the year of the Olympic Games in 2012., beside the Hungarian athletics who also won awards … the Nobilis blackcurrant pálinka won the Gold medal of 2012 at the World Spirit Award competition. Nobilis latest Premium Dark Beer Pálinka has the ingredients of Dark Beer Budweiser … it has a reminder to the Whisky but having a richer flavor distillate

The year 2014 already started well for the Nobillis pálinka. the most respected profession the „Destillata” another world of spirits is shortly reaching its 25 years in holding competitions. This year a record number of entrants  were received  to participate int he competition of pálinka at the 2014 Salzburg Destillata. Participants of 183 distillery and 1700 submitted items were involved. The „Nobilis Pálinka” was among the record number to be the winner of their pálinka. Seven Silver and Seven Bronze medal, which took in Podiums, by being number one beside the other 29 Hungarian competitors.

Awards have become an increasingly popular and important in the international spirits competition. Although hundreds of brands enter the competition, naturally only brands with the highest scores receive honors. Recently, the Nobilis pálinka bottles flew over to San Francisco and took part in the competition of the world’s top Distillates duel with each other within the framework at the World Spirits Award 2014 – Master Class Distillery and won the golden medal.

Over the past 20 years distilleries have had been growing like the grass after rain in Hungary. Small companies spirits are not yet available on a global distributorship‐level, but are worthy of recognition and hopefully the Nobilis will be beside some European liquor stores on the shelves and more to it, over the Ocean to be on an international scale for the consumers who are most concerned with the good and excellent taste of pálinka. Did not mention yet … not a shocking news, but all the Nobilis pálinka has the alcohol of 40% … so to keep in mind „no drink when drive”

Not sure whether it is a Hungarian saying or not but it goes like this … There is no better group of advisors for a product than real consumers … cheers

At noon on sharp Dr. Zsigmind KRIZA executive director of the MACIVA welcomed the mass of small kids, children, young adults, granmas’ and granpas’ infront of the Hungarian National Circus. This major gathering was previously held before the circus parade show took place at 1 p.m. inside the grand circus of Budapest.

The circus parade as a  custom became a tradition in the 19th century in the Unites States of America. Back then when the traveling circus troupes arrived to their next venue they marched through the streets in their outfits, costumes also with animals in the show as an invitation to join the coming show.  The circus parade was rolling along  in the States and made it through as a tradition in many cities in Europe.

The initiative of the International Circus Federation is sweeping around the world since 2008. It is held throughout the world on the 3rd Saturday in April.

The Hungarian Circus joined the call and to-day is having it’s 7th year in a roll in celebrating together with the public the international circus parade.

All those who shared  time, joined the parade on Saturday most probably were carried away by walking, turning around the Heroes’ Square back-and-forth along with the awesome artist watching the spectacular show.  Surely, the little folks had that evening sweet dreams and will  remember the day.

The weather was a great supporter to parade. Kept the rain away, which was clinging day-in, day-out.

Tuesday, April, 15. up to Tuesday, September, 30. 2014.

Opening hours: From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday … Closed on Monday… except on Easter Monday!

MIND OF LEONARDO (1452-1519) – THE UNIVERSAL GENIUS AT WORK

Did you know Leonardo da Vinci was a scientist and artist, whether or not then here is tip, a great opportunity to roll over to the City of Pécs where you can admire Leonardo’s sophisticated nearly 100 art of works by one of the famous artist of the 15th century. All tools were prepared exactly according to the original plans.  Indeed, worthwhile to keep in mind to take a trip, especially in the coming 4 days holiday season of Easter or a week later during the 3 days of non-working holiday connected to the 1st of May.

Took part on a media trip to participate at the opening ceremony of Leonardo Da Vinci arrival and dressed in Pécs – Southern boarder-side of Hungary. Upon arrival to the city of Pécs headed to the Martyn Museum, whereas the indoor official opening ceremony took place along with the organizers and the invited local authorities. Giovanni Di Pasquale – organiser – Italian Florentine Galileo Science History Institute welcomed the guest on Tuesday,  and expressed his delight that this exhibition celebrates Leonardo da Vinci 562 birth anniversary and opens in existence currently celebrating the 110 years anniversary of the Janus Pannonius Museum. He also made a point, Quote: „The exhibition is to accurately observed how the art of the Renaissance affected science and vice-versa, and how the artist was able to successfully combine all of this in one.” Before our tour took began, the intellectual architect of the exhibition, the chief curator of the institution Professor Paolo Galluzzi – Director who could not make it to Pécs to the exhibition opening sent a video message. He greeted the individuals at present and said the following, Quote: „The Banca di Cambiano was founded 130 years ago which means it is the oldest co-operative credit institution in Italy. In 2004 the BANK sponsored the “Leonardo’s Automobile” exhibition to celebrate its first 120 years of life. Now living in 2014., the Bank celebrates its 130th anniversary and emphasized the venues of Pécs. Visitors to come to the exhibitions will be able to see a wide scale of superb illustrating techniques and most of all vision portrays, everything through the eyes of Leonardo and discover in master’s paintings the perspective of natural forces and discover the relationship between them.”

Thereafter, walked over to a small park beside the Lajos Nagy High School where arriving along with the parade of authentic period dressed musicians came Zsolt Páva – major of Pécs.  He welcomed the V.I.P guests, the media and local residents by saying the following, Quote: “After Tokyo – Japan, California and San Jose – USA, Pécs feels the honor to debut in Europe for the first such a form of Leonardo’s works. In 2007 there was already a similar event organized at Debrecen, but here at Pécs the size and scope is beyond of what was held at Debrecen. This grand exhibition, all about Leonardo is expected to be the Year’s exhibition in Hungary, and from now most probably in Central Europe.” The major deeply hopes that this exhibition after being within the series of program as the European Capital of Culture now again Pécs will be the center of attention for many culture local and foreigner visitors. Upon this grand opening the major was the first to purchase a ticket to enter the Janus Pannonius Museum’s Modern Gallery.

Our magical mystery tour started by visiting the construction of the working model Leonardo’s “automobile”, whereas our magnificent guide was Giovanni di Pasquale who emphasized the magnificent construction of the working model of Leonardo’s “automobile” by saying: Quote: „Leonardo’s inventions was far ahead of its time! More to it added, Quote: „Using to build the automobile was by 5 types of different wood and some metal components shows what a marvelous inventor he was. These materials were well-known at the time of Leonardo. For instance … Ilex: gear pegs, cams, wheel axles and gear pivots, Beech: wheel beams, Ash: large toothed wheels, main leaf springs, escapement leaf springs, steering mechanism. Elm: wheel hubs, classic structure. Oak: circumferences of the wheels,  chassis finishing. The metal components were to cover the wheels, chassis stiffness, auxiliary mechanisms, adjusters and tensors of leaf springs. Da Vinci’s Leonardo’s self-propelling wagon has been the subject of important studies by some of the most illustrious Leonardo scholars of the 20th century.

Here at the exhibitions many Leonardo’s drawings are reproduced by marvelous scholars to see in use to a better understanding of the birth and the functioning of the self-propelling wagon.” At another hall, the flying model of man in full size took eyes focusing to the ceiling.Visitors may see the artist’s operating principles of scanning machines, inventor of the innovative architects and the flight, the scientists studying anatomy.

As a part of our study tour we have had time to visit the fiberglass replica of the Colosses, the sculpture of „Sforza Colossus” which is to symbolise and promote the exhibition. Leonardo made a model from clay and intended to cast the final sculpture in a single piece of  bronze, but even though he worked on the sculpture for over 17 years, this never happened.  As many other Leonardo’s technological dreams and projects, as the Sforza Monument aroused lively interest among those scholars and partons keen on the well-known Renaissance artist. Here at Pécs we see a modern hypothetical recreation of  Leonardo’s 8.5 meter- high model of just a horse that might have looked like. More to it this monument weights 13-ton and about 8,000 liters of water was placed inside the base in order to reach the appropriate of balance.

The exhibitions are displayed at two venues  …  Janus Pannonius Museum’s, Modern Gallery – Address.: 5, Papnövelde Street

… Janus Pannonius Museum’s, Martyn Museum – Address.: 4. Kápolna Street.

Besides the plants, several species of animals live in the gardens, including special birds and a family of 50 peacocks with the treasure of having one albino peacocks. Unfortunately, couldn’t have a glance on any, probably hiding away from the visitors, but the sound of the peacocks filled the air. The Arboretum has the one-and-only …….. oldest tree, which over 140 years old. The Arboretum is filled with peace and a perfect place to hide away from the city’s busy traffic and spend an outstanding week-end at the countryside to charge-up at the surroundings of nature and walk on by the awesome building at the Mini Hungary.  Had attended  at the HONDA Wilker Ltd. in Fót at the presentation of the former junior European Championship silver medalist, the Hungarian Dávid Juhász multi-speed motor racing champion. It seems that over the years  David Juhász kept his dream alive and now he can finally make it to this season to convert his dream into reality by bursting into the top with the support in racing in the colors of the newly founded Moto One Honda.

His new “assistance” the SP HONDA CBR1000RR Superbike racing engine and  his racing team was introduced. At the presentation heard about his own and his team’s plans, objectives for this coming year.  As he said, he will be racing in the series of the Alpen Adria, IMRC, Hungarian Championship. His target is in taking the first place on the roads. It takes two and to achieve this dream and he expressed he is honored  to participate at the EUs  races with his new engine. As David said, this superbike cannot be compared to any motorbikes he had previous entered the racing field. This is the not just an ordinary tool,  but a true companion  for him in hurtling at the  racing circus. This is the 21st. century’s superbike and he will do everything  in his power to give the engine the power it needs to hit the road.

József Balogh, David’s manager was once an active Hungarian engine rider. As he said he never reached to be a professional racers, but being on the road was the best thing in his life. As he said he realized early, he is to be a better Hungarian, than competing as a Hungarian. Balogh spoke about knowing David since he was one years old and seeing him on the  bike at the age of three. At the time being I already saw David’s talent and later on experienced this young lad has what it takes, count on him and is prepared to take support him on the long-term. David is still young of age, born in 1992. On his engine his  birth year stands as „92”. David told me in a way he is kinda superstitious and therefore is with him at each race his cabala which he received at the age of one.  When something it is needed to be renewed, then his mother takes care of it. His mother makes a cross on his forehead when she attend the races in Hungary.  David does this alone every time when the competition takes place abroad and also says a short pray.. Most probably every racer has their own way … something minutes before the tournament.

His parents were active athletics. His sister and brother also inherited the athletic genes. A real sporty family. His father as a motorbike rider always supported him and gave advises to David’s  motor racing. To the Q. „Whose was the last word between the two of them?” David said it was mine, by saying O.K. Dad! David’s girlfriend  is in accompany him to every race. He has high hopes that with this super group and Honda engine he will reach the World Championship. Getting close to the end of the presentation, David said, Quote: „Don’t wish to speak too much about the coming races, because right now seeing the superb Honda, I would most likely to sit on the engine and let the power go.

Do not have to wait for too much time, because Dávid Juhász first joint action with his new Honda, starts this weekend at the Slovakiaring – the 2014 IMRC and Hungarian league season!
