„BACK to the FUTURE” … FEVER is ON in BUDAPEST!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Never-the-less 30 years just flipped away and we are currently living in 2015., without Marty’s  magical hoverboard, nor ain’t high up the flying cars … not to mention as Dr. Brown says …”Where we are going there are no roads” so have to come down on earth and still do it the hard way in driving or sucked in a traffic jam.

Anyway, was a great journey „Back To the Future”,  to the Corvin Cinema (Corvin mozi)  on October, 16. 2015. whereas in front of the cinema stood the magical DeLorean DMC12 vehicle, but  in 2015 it does not need the 1.21 gigawatts anymore and therefore will not take any passengers Back to the Future. The oldie Volkswagen made van was parking without any bad lad, but surely was a reminder of the race in the movie. Inside the cinema hall was quicky exhibition and by this time in history, technology had progressed as much during the 30 years since 1985 as it had during the previous 30 years from 1955 to 1985. Electronics were in virtually everything from clothing to garbage cans to make them move, talk or make those electronic noises. These and other items seen in the movie was out on display so  families, folks of all age and kids were able throughout the day visiting the venue.

Enjoy the slides.

One of the loveliest market halls in Budapest, in the district 7. also known as the Jewish quarter at the neighbourhood of the Klauzál Park is filled with life once again after refurbishment reopened its gates to the public at

District VII., 11. Klauzál Square – Budapest.

Before  WW 2 the market and its surrounding venue was a busy living area. Koser butcher, bakery, wine and all sorts of groceries tents and were busy for shopping. For years it has not been renewed and during the past decades it certainly lost its charm and many of its shoppers.

Finally time has come to the old building to go through a full refurbishment from head-to-tow! It was built-in 1897, whereas previously stood, but destroyed by fire in 1874, the István Square’s theater. In this year, 5 Market Halls were opened in the Budapest. This one has become the III. out of the V. The market hall was upon the plans of the Municipal Engineering Office Architects, József Kommer and Pál Klunzinger.

Before  the official opening to the public took place, the district VII.  – Elizabeth City  – Mayor – Zsolt Vattamány  welcomed the renewed market hall for not only the local district’s shopping individuals and highlighted the new form of the building. Also added, the Klauzál Market Hall by the recent years, had degenerated into a shadow of its former beauty and function and so the local government decided to launch a revival project within EU financial support. Ervin Schmuck – managing director SPAR Hungary read his welcoming words to the opening in Hungarian language and the invited guest, media representatives appreciated his speech very much. As he added, during the renovation of the market hall area the SPAR developed a new level on the basement floor. It has its own brand products and meat from the company’s own plant of the controlled quality fresh meat products.

The Market from now on is bright and neat, the store s match nicely into the market hall’s spacious central section. The building’s metal frame and the walls for the shops covered with wood, really gives a pleasant sight. The ceilings are made of  glass, guaranteeing bright interiors, but as the Fall and Winter season is just ahead of us the  lighting of the market is guaranteed to take a look at the assortment.

On the basement floor’s central walking area are 14 farmers tables and dairy stores with home-made – dairy products, poultry meat stores and home-made sausages, salamis are available. For the time being, only a couple of small producers’ tables were filled with selling their own products. We can meet the producers and see their products are high quality. Fresh and more to it tasty and delicious seasonal fruits and veggies are available throughout the year.

The basement and its first floor has elevator access and is barrier-free for the disable shoppers inside the hall free WiFi is available for the customers. The area  is pay parking on the street.

The supermarket after the national laws limiting Sunday opening hours,  the Klauzál Market Hall will be accessible on Sundays between 6.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday: 6 a.m. -2 p.m. and during the week days 6 a.m. -6 p.m. as well.

Going to the market for ages has been always popular, no mater where you live and now-a-days it seems even more to have become cool to go to the market, not just for shopping for the week-end but during the lunch hours to have a bite of food as well. We can meet the producers, the products are high quality. Hopefully, shopping folks to the Klauzál Market Hall will remain in favorite because of its wide selection of goods foods.

The whole day in-and-outside the market was rolling with raffle and stage shows. The day’s program ended with a huge concert, held by the Budapest Klezmer Band, the audience could hardy let go the band, cheered and expressed their appreciation praise by clapping.

THE NEWLY DESIGNED BOTTLE OF FINLANDIA VODKA SYMBOLIZE THE GLACIAL OF FINLAND

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

WELCOME TO BUDAPEST’S   EIFFEL  SQUARE

27 – July – 2011

Finland is pretty well know by the kids of Santa Claus sledging down from Lapland every Xmas. The adults are pretty familiar with the Finlandia Vodka. Finnish  call their Finlandia Vodka  ”From the Nature to the Bottle” The unique springs environment of the glacial assures the pure, clear water, that’s been growing ever since over 10,000 years. To-day, during the late morning hours, well know artists came along to do something very unique. Participated at a competition to rescue four bottles Finlandia Vodka one-by-one prisoned into frozen four huge ice tomb constructed by Kimmo Frosti, the ice sculptor. He previously formed 4 bricks of ice tombs with the newly designed Finlandia Vodka bottles in these ice blocks. Tamás Somló – musician/composer/singer, Zita Karsai – dancer, Viktor Király – 4th.Megastar winner and Anett Bálizs, soap-opera star all arrived to the scene of Budapest’s Eiffel Square.

The Eiffel Square is right next door to the Western Railway Station, that was opened  in 1877.  The construction was upon the plan by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel (Dijon,1832  – Paris, 1923) French civil engineer, cartoonist designer, captain of industry. His plan of metal works came alive by the construction of the Eiffel Tower – Paris and  the Liberty Statue on the Liberty Island  – N.Y./US

They joined the competition of who is the quickest in cutting, removing the bottle of Finlandia Vodka from these frozen ice tombs. The invited guest received all kinda cutting tools (saw, chisel, ice carver, flame-thrower) and off they went. The battle was tough and sweaty to rescue the Finlandia bottles frozen, locked into the ice tombs. After rescuing the Finlandia bottles from those closed freeze world of ice came the second part of the competition, whereas they could allow their imagination to prepare a smooth fruity taste cocktails. thereafter, came the juries rates of the cocktails: by colour, design, aroma, added extra fruits and fruit juice to higher the already aromatise tastes. Their were two adjudicators Tamás Sipos and Győző Varga, representing the group of „Irigyhonalajmirigy” (at first prehaps strange for the ears named group as in English and Hungarian language … E.A.G (envy armpit glandular) The group is very popular here in Hungary. They skit Hungarian and International pop music by rewriting the lyrics into everyday’s matters and situations. The third adjudicator was Gergő Varga – the Finlandia Hungarian and International multiple champion, who warmed up a bit of that cooler weather here now, at  the end of July.

Indeed, it was a pleasant stylistic, excellent show for the representatives of the press and medias. The event closed with the tasting tests of the „light” divvy Finlandia Vodka fruity cocktails.
