W!ZZ Air, the Hungarian-based low-budget airline, will relaunch its service connecting Budapest with the Azerbaijani capital Baku on March, 27. 2016.
W!ZZ Air will operate the flight twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The carrier first launched direct flights from Budapest to Baku in 2013, but suspended them in 2014.
The airline launched its Budapest-Baku flight for the first time in 2013. However, this was suspended in the winter of 2014 and discontinued in the 2015 summer schedule because the ground service provider at Baku airport had significantly increased service fees. The present statement has revealed that W!ZZ Air has concluded a new contract with the Azerbaijani partner company.
Last Friday, the vice-chairman of Azerbaijani Airlines announced that the new contract with W!ZZ Air, which will enable the flight to be relaunched, the agreement was signed on October, 28. 2015.
