Spooktakular event in-and-outside Budapest!


Spooktakular event … the ghosts are coming out during the evening – till dawn … not to be missed … Weekend October. 26 – 28. 2018.

By the end of October will be farewell to Halloween at one of the traditional Pumpkin Festival!

The celebration of ancient Celtic traditions dates to the night of October 31, the night before the All Saints, at night. There has been a growing popularity in Hungary, or might not, but it is certain that the celebration of Celtic witches, ghosts and other demons has been transformed into a good-nature, fanciful, costume-inspired, pumpkin-shaped, pumpkin-filled party with a slight fright. There are lots of ridiculous venues to go throughout Hungary to meet spooky folks …  and telling you … still in time to purchase the props.

Indeed have a full night spooking around the Heroes’ Square … Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere) is the largest and most impressive square in Budapest

Bring your own hand-carved Halloween Jack O’Lanterns to the Heroes’ Square. Pick a great Halloween costume … usually not required, but if you don one, you will have fun! Telling you … still in time to purchase the props. and of course bring your own pumpkin.  A really cool annual free event.

Outside the Capital, just mentioning  a couple of cities  where the locals and foreigners might be around, to get/to be at these superb venues to splash into the mood for a fabulous ’Spooky Night”!

Spending pretty much time at the Travel Fair would like to share some collected information for those who could make it to be around during the time being!

Visit Italy –  visitors to the Italian stand were warmly welcomed by fully information about the whereabouts to spend their vacation, offering 4star hotel at Park Gallanti Village, or for families, friends at the Ferrari Lido on the white sandy beach for all age. The selection of accomodation is wide to choose from a real recharge for one who would like to spend their holidays at modern greenery venue within reach from the sea. Was told the at the stand the Park Gallanti Village is a combination of wellbeing oases … real relaxation for both body and mind. They offered real Italian coffee, pizza cheese and wrapped with Italian ham.The visitors were treated with true Italian hospitality, received real Italian coffee, cheese and Italian ham rolled in pizza.

Visit Indonesia cannot be to roam around all the islands  having more than 17 thousand of islands, but to  choose spot to have the flavor of their rich culture, waves to surf, deep blue pristine seas swimming with the  dolphins, dugongs or the large mantrays, white sandy  beaches, rainforest – for instance at Sumatra where indeed also rich in arts  and crafts, tradition dances and music is worthwhile  heard as a drop of information gained at the Travel  2016 – Hungexpo  Fair. For those planning to visit the Islands, heard not to be missed the Komodo Island to see one of the real wonder of the world, the Komodo Dragon at the National Park. Once they lived  across Indonesia and Australia. These large  lizzards body size remained the same for over 3,8 million years. So to get a little shiver of seeing these creature in several movies one can see them in real size. The only time to think it over to visit the place is between May and August during their mating time when they are not so friendly and a bit restless.  The Italian stand

As for the locals, the inland offers were plenty to choice from,  because might have already heard about the fact that Hungary is having  somewhere around in Budapest and even at several regions, each week-ends a fair or festival.

Mentioning a couple of sites  to see beside Budapest, because Hungary is not just all about events in the Capital …

Visit Gyula … shortly March,11-15 the city will hold a real Sodar festival. Smoked flavors and aroma will fill the area. During the long-weekend will be the VI. Gyulai Sausage “Sódarmustra” – culinary festival.  Taste not only the sausages,  but purchase the local producers real meat preparations for Easter, directly from farmers. In addition to the range of delicious meat products armies entertainment are waiting for those who spend a long weekend to Visit Gyula. Each day during the festival can choose among several programs.  There will be something for everyone! Programs for small and younger children as spending time with arts and crafts, theme park awaits for all age.

Probably may already know that at the four corners of Hungary  is rich in the land of hot thermal water with medical treatments.

Lenti –  is a place of jewelry box of health. Earth energy waves were discovered in Lenti Thermal Spa in 2002. On the territory of Lenti Thermal Spa the Saint George Energy Park, which is unique in Europe, is situated at the meeting point of energy lines with beneficial effects. Here guests can find more efficient recreation, fulfillment, and healing due to the combined impact of the spa and this special energetic place. The types of Earth waves, i.e. Saint George lines, were called Dragon Currents in Eastern cultures. In ancient cultures, these types of Earth lines or “neural currents” were worshiped as saints. At the intersections of such lines, sacred places were built such as Stonehenge, Lourdes, Fatima, Machu Picchu, the Egyptian pyramids or churches in the Árpád era.

Zalakaros   is situated in the vicinity of the Little  Lake Balaton, organizing attractive and diverse programs, events and festivals, but also plenty of  spa programs and event.  A family friendly place with  a land of  Waterworld, playhouse, mini adventure park, children can watch the Waterworld from a tower, and there is also climbing wall, playground, nursing room, a kitchen and a changing room for the babies.

BócsaVincze Riding Center offers a wide range of possibilities for riding sport lovers … training, riding tours, horse-drawn coach or slate excursions, riding camps, as well as therapeutical riding instruction. Besides all these, they are engaged in breeding and training of price winning horses. The Vincze Riding Center is situated in Bócsa, about 100 kms. from Budapest, located in the Kiskunság National Park. The dunes and steppes of Bócsa-Bugac venue  having sand plains, dunes, sodic lakes and marshes, make it one of the most complex areas of the national park.

Nagykanizsa  – At the representatives booth was testing by tasting the „Kanizsai dödölle„ Typical regional folk pasta. This year will be held for the 11th time the Kanizsai dödölle and Wine Festival – September, 9-10. 2016., which is famous for its folk Zala Country’s food. During the festival will be  held cooking competition between amateur and professional chefs, a battle to win the wine’s title called „Dalnoki”  and colorful programs for children and adults. For locals and foreigners not o be missed!

Hard to say a one day trip would be enough to feel, to see, have the experience to hit all the facilities at the Hot Mineral Spa’s in the  City of  Gyula. Anyway giving a try to recommend to go and have own experiences!

BathOne … The Castello Bath with its so-called beaches and the Castello Wellness and Sauna Park and the Beauty Massage Salon, the  „Tamás Szécsy’s” swimming pool  which is one of the best-known pools in the region  of  the Southern Great Plain, whereas the place often holds swimming championships, for many a land of paradise.  

BathTwo … the Castle Bath with its 25-meters  pool has services of  European standards.  Has a total of 18 pools. Giving a feeling by-the-Sea with one of  Hungary’s most modern wave pool. Naturally, being an outdoor pool,. it is operating only in the summertime. During the season the rush is high as the iron bell rings  just as  the bells ring for the rushing out from the Ocean, when the life savers spot a shark splashing towards the beach. Here no sharks,  the  bell calls goes as invitation to splash into the superb high wave pool. 

BathThree … is the newly established, soon to be open  December, 22. the Aqua Palace – the wonderland of adventures!

A new chapter in the land of spars at the city of Gyula, distinguished guests arrived to participate  at the ceremony on  Wednesday, December 18 to the official opening of the Aqua Palace, whereas Dr. Ernő Görgényi mayor of the City of Gyula welcomed the invited guests at the hall-room of the Castle Bath. The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was a joint “adventure” by Dr. Ernő Görgényi mayor,  Mr. Nándor Csepreghy – Prime Minister’s deputy secretary, Mr. Zoltán Farkas – Békés County Assembly’s President, Dr. Jozsef Kovács and Mr. Róbert Gajda – parliamentary deputies, Mr. Attila Laszló Boros – Managing Director, Mr. Norbert Erdős – government agent. Also present where representatives of  parliamentary of the county, local government bodies and institutions, county and city leaders and representatives of the judiciary, mayors and last but not least representatives from the tourism sector were all present. After the presentations came the adventure time … We were taken on a tour showing  an insight of the facilities that the Aqua Palace holds for the forthcoming visitors.

The Aqua Palace complex of adventures is unique by itself in Hungary.

The Castle Bath Spa in the Southern Great Plain region has been one of its own in the tradition of nature’s gift of mineral hot spas. In order to be competitiveness in the domestic and international tourism market, this is only one beside others of Gyula city’s biggest tourist attraction. The Castle Spa successfully applied support from the New Széchenyi Plan, Southern Great Plain Operational Program, and thanks to the total of 1,198.719.000 HUF per EU support,  the City of Gyula had established  the Aqua Palace, a new indoor complex to its other two sisters baths.

Aqua Palace has been long-awaited for the lovers of water adventures and eventually it “arrived”.!  During the presentation it was  announced, the Aqua Palace’s gate to be  finally wide open  from Sunday, December, 22, just 2 days before Xmas. The Aqua Palace is a special gift from the city of Gyula and welcomes local residents and visitors from  far-and-close regions, foreigners working, residing in Hungary. The Aqua Palace is equipped with the most modern facilities, as its name stands “Palace”  … worthy for the best.  From now on, come-rain-come-shine,  high winds may blow, snow storms outside, crushing heat wave, melting from the scorching sun rays,  the Aqua Palace serves their visitors, families with their babies, teenagers, young adults and of course all age individuals who are seekers for adventures full year-round  and  of course who arrive not primarily due to visit the mineral spa water baths. The Aqua Place is truly a family friendly  bath in every sence, has what it takes to pamper the guests. A side from the pools there are playgrounds for little kindergarten aged kids and teenagers. There is also Mother-Baby room to rest, changing diapers etc. To ease the thirst, needn’t have to leave the pool, just a few swoops and there you are at the Water Bar.

The basic area of the new complex is ​​6,338 square meters with  894  square meters of water surface, the new pool will consist of five baths. The Castle Bath, buildings of development involved, is fully wheelchair accessible. It is the country’s “Greenest Spa”,  cost-effective and environmentally responsible for the operation of the heat energy which is mainly covered from the 1,500-meters-deep thermal heat recovery. The natural gas-based heating is only needed, as a supplement during the winter months. In addition, heat recovery ventilation and thermal water is used in daily amount of heat recovery, equipped with heat pump system to serve the environmental and economic sustainability.

Visitors who have at least once visited Gyula already  have knowledge the City of Gyula  as a land for centuries in having  nature’s  gift, the medical hot water temperature  bursting  from depth of 2000 meters of 72°C degrees. A superb place  to relax and recharge yourself, bathing with passion and enjoying the careless wealth,  relaxing in the warmth pools of paradise No wonder the city takes it as an award of nature and build its facilities to comfort the locals, foreigner well-being. Here is an environment  to unwind  themselves 365-days of the Year. The baths and spa’s are not only for individuals with locomotor diseases. chronic nerve pains, nor for post-treatment cause by accident or operation.

The Gyula Castle Bath is situated in the 8.5 hectare park. The Owner of the Aqua Palace is by 93.25%  the Municipality of Gyula.  The Hungarian Government  owns: 2.69% of the complex. Granted aid was 1,198,719,000 HUF. Overall project cost was:  2,397,439,161 HUF. The support ratio: 49.99%.

Visiting these 3 extraordinary awesome spas is having an experience in health care, sporty activities or enjoying the adventures, All-IN-ONE!

Not to gain elsewhere a similar experience at any other  area in Hungary  in size,  selection of  facilities and most of all the natural mineral hot spa  than at the City of Gyula !
