Just within a week from June, 7-10. 2019 the City of Gyula will hold for the second time the Craft Beer Festival. During these four days, artisan masterpieces and street food will not just in the air but at the fingertips of the locals and foreigners arriving to the venue.
Mark the dates cause Beer and Music are tailored with each other.
At the festival, 25 small-scale breweries will to offer for the thirsty ones to taste hundreds of craft beer. As it turned out, a total of 215 specimens were nominated for the competition, among others from Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia and Belgium. The items were judged by an international jury. This year, not only draft beers on the tap, but also in bottled form will be presented. Many of them are specially made for the visitors to take home some and enjoy the tastes later on. Most of these beers will be coming around next year so do not miss to be there this year. There will be during the festival gift box packaging for those who wish to share and/or give the products as a gift.
The “Central European Beer Awards-2019” Beer Competition was announced as an accompanying event for the festival, for small breweries and home-made brewers.
The essential music festivals program will not be missing the day’s live music concerts that will highlight the evenings mood to the event.
Maybe not too many people know, but Gyula has a tradition of making beer for three centuries. Not yet have not tried/taste the local beers then it is your time to do so.
The City of Gyula is one of the most popular tourist destination, all year around the healing thermal spa, the attractions and the gastronomy definitely worth to visit Gyula!
