The most heartwarming film of the spring is a story, based on the events that actually took place.
Following a group of women in England whose counterparts are serving in Afghanistan, and face with the men’s absences. In the meantime the group of women waiting for them at home form a choir and quickly find themselves at the center of a media sensation and global movement. The story celebrates a band of misfit women who form a choir on a military base.
The movie features lots and lots of feelings, humor, heartbreaking songs like Don’t Go Breaking My Heart by Elton John, Time After Time by Cindy Lauper or Angels Robbie Williams.
At first it ain’t easy to get along with each other at first, but as pretty slow bonds of friends intertwine between them, music and laughter change their lives … not only do they help each other overcome their fears of losing their loved ones, but they find themselves at the center of a media sensation. The ladies perform as a choir at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London.
