46th Travel + International Tourism Exhibition & Adventure Festival @ Hungexpo – Budapest

The press gathering was held in the morning hours at the Bulgarian Cultural Center – Budapest, concerning the topic of which was related to the upcoming International Travel Exhibition and Festival.

As an innovation, this year’s event will be supplemented with interactive programs to better meet the needs and desire of the visitors to gain experience. Therefore, the name of the exhibition will also be renewed. Namely, the Travel + International Tourism Exhibition and Experience Festival, February 22-25, 2024., is to refer to the diverse range of the event.

“At our country’s largest and most significant travel-themed exhibition, we try to offer visitors experiences that cannot be achieved in the online world,” Klára Tihanyi, Hungexpo’s director of strategy and business development, emphasized at the press gathering and added: “23 domestic and 28 foreign destinations will offer their travels at independent stands, and cca. 150 exhibitors will be present.

The 46th Travel exhibition in recent years has increasingly popular among travelers. Although may had a subjective idea of what the term adventure means, adventure tourism as a whole is like that refers to activities such as various extreme sports by air -land- water, as well as exploring exotic destinations.

It is the most prestigious and also the largest domestic tourist exhibition in our country. A unique opportunity for those interested in tourism and active recreation. Domestic and international professional visitors and the most important market players can present their products and services.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF YACHT TOURISM – 2017.

Two point five billion HUF investment in the development of Yacht Tourism  at Lake Balaton – Hungary.

Important milestone in the tourism as a development of certain forms of active tourism, thanks to  the context of Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program (GINOP) became more widely available to active sailing tourists, created along the thematic tour options, coordinated, hiking, cycling, sailing, canoeing and equestrian network projects to be implemented from EU funds. Thanks to 2.5 billion in total value of investments in asset and service development, as well as the city of Balatonfüred in cooperation with a stop station will be  implementation of development that contributes to extend the tourist season and the number,  hopefully to the visitors grow.

The investments appling yachting motivation popularity as more and more people feel the desire to travel around the lake in their spare time,as to be more trained, healthier, and to know the historical, cultural and natural beauties of Hungary. Important principle is that through the development of stations and ports connection between the various active tourism modes (walking, cycling, canoeing, horse riding, sailing) will strengthened, increasing the number of nights spent on the ground and regions through the development  of the individual stops.

The Hungarian Sailing Association, over the past ten years achieved a significant improvement in the field of yachting. According to the development concept MVSZ special emphasis on the expansion of the sport community, a high priority to education, to win the members of the next generation. “GoBoating” program  – Sailing with association – 2017.

Thursday, June, 8. 2017, the Association nationally organizes an open day called “GoBoating” which is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the 8-14 year-old children to sailing and sailing with the association’s and schools, as possible close to where they live to learn the beautiful and increasingly popular sport of basics.

Last year, 15 locations, 32 schools, 1407 children participated in this highly successful sport promotion program.

The Hungarian Sailing Association this year having the opportunity in its effort to help the clubs with primarily marketing materials with custom logo.

Of course, it is possible to join the program later, but in the case of the preparation of custom marketing materials will no longer be available having the time to issue.
