with the Nyíregyháza-based tekerd! group, open to everyone.

Also since music has always been the heartbeat of Venezuelan life, the day will also feature live concerts and flavorful culinary delights.

exploration, blending Latin American traditions with spiritual themes and personal
narratives.

10 a.m. – 6 p.m – LEGO Art Workshop: Build Zeus’s Boxing Rooster!
A long-held dream came true for Zeus Salas in 2023, when he met the young creators from

The King of Reggae – Would Have Turned 79 On The 6th Of February.

Akvárium Club … In the middle of Downtown … District V., 12. Erzsébet Squ. Budapest

In February, concerts will be held all over the world to commemorate the most famous reggae musician of all time, Bob Marley.

In Hungary, Ladánybene 27 …

Will take the stage at the Akvárium Club with a show consisting exclusively of Marley songs. The concert on February 7,  (ticket available on the spot) which will feature several reggae performers, including Sena, CéAnne and Bottah Rankin, will feature well-known songs as well as rarities from Marley’s oeuvre. Bob Marley was an icon who sang about love and unity and made reggae music and Jamaica known worldwide. His international career really took off when Eric Clapton covered the song I Shot the Sheriff. Soon, however, songs that are now considered cult songs such as No Woman, No Cry, Rastaman Vibration, Redemption Song, One Love, Get Up, Stand Up or Is This Love were also at the top of the American and international charts, performed by Bob Marley and The Wailers. Bob Marley became a true world star, and in his homeland, Jamaica, he was a living legend, a prophet, the voice of the nation, who was even able to encourage opposing politicians to shake hands. He died tragically young, at the age of 36, of cancer. His spirituality, musical and social work still influence musicians of all generations to this day. Ladánybene 27 has been the ambassador of reggae music in Hungary since 1985. Bob Marley’s work had a great influence on the development of their music, even in those days when Jamaican music was hardly available in Hungary.

In 1996, the band released a Marley memorial album and holds a memorial concert every February. The concert features Marley’s well-known and lesser-known songs from his early Jamaican years to the end of his Tuff Gong world-conquering period … Tuff Gong is the brand name associated with a number of businesses started by Bob Marley and the Marley family. Tuff Gong is also a record label formed by the reggae group. ‘Tuff Gong’ comes from Marley’s nickname, which was in turn an echo of that given to founder of the Rastafari movement, Leonard “The Gong” Howell.
