By the time November arrives the weather becomes cold and chilly. Already the harvest of grapes ended and the arrival of the new wine is at our doorstep. At the fair folks will have a chance to taste 120 different types of new wines brought by the wine growers.

Also in November is the right time to prepare those delicious, mouth-watering Hungarian sausages. Unique flavors such as the country sausage seasoned with rosemary will definitely will be on sale aswell. Just like the sausages as the black pudding stuffed with drie plums. The fair’s visitors will have a chance to have a taste of more than 100 different flavored chitterlings, sausages, salamis. If you haven’t yet tried it and won’t this time at the fair then you’re a looser! … and I am sure you don’t want to be that person!

This year at the fair will show up a special mixer show. Where mixers will serve their developed unique cocktails. The visitors may have experience of flavors they haven’t met before of handmade champagnes and fruit spirits

Honey lovers  won’t miss their favorite honeys … may see on the spot the procedure and also tasting the freshly prepared honey.

A little nostalgia will be also on its way … In the early ’70s was pretty popular among kids the so-called “winter ice- cream” I bet all the parents who were kids in those days have surely tasted them at least once. The Hungarians are pretty much sweet tooth individuals and in the freezing winter … the kids still want to have an ice-cream … so some smart person invented the “winter ice-cream” and from thereon kids could enjoy “ice-cream” throughout the whole year. Seems like what’s old comes back as new for the children of to-day. Visitors must go for it to feel the yummy flavor of the wafer cup filled with real candy like speciality.
There’s an invitation going out on Friday night, by the Balkan Fanatik Band. They “serve a mixture” …. no not food, but
heartwarming folk music combined with electronic music. So be their guest on the opening day I mean during the evening
time at the Fair.

The Kolompos Band and Alma Band is out on stage during Saturday and Sunday morning. the good atmosphere is guaranteed by the Kolompos and the Alma Bands. They are a pretty popular children bands. Surely, the visitor’s attention will be catch in a minute as soon as they start to play.

Won’t leave out in not mentioning the Children’s Corner! Just like in the previous years a playing corner welcomes the kids with artisan activities and toys to play. Both on Saturday and Sunday the corner is open between 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

The organizer’s thought those children with height to reach the “kitchen table” to fill their both hands by preparing their own Santa Claus shaped sweetie made of chocolate … now that ain’t an everyday activity what the parents can give to their kids. Of course an experienced masters will guide and teach the tricks as well.

This year again just like last year the visitors may vote for their favorite producer’s based on their votes. choose product you prefer the most among all the different delights and tick on the leaflet your favorite producer. Simply as that! Just an appetizer … go back to my last year’s update where ya can also see last year’s winner, the “Honey Museum” from the Békésszentandrás Brewery.
