Ernesto (Ernesto Alterio) is an eccentric and nonconformist theater director who receives the news of the death of her mother and, what is worse, finds out that she is going to be buried in a cemetery. Determined to fulfill the last will of the deceased, Ernesto sets out to steal her coffin to throw her corpse into the ocean, just as her last wish was. Ernesto’s daughter (Gala Aymach), tired of her madness, accompanies him to try to make him change his mind. However, during the journey, he will discover that his father is saner than he suspected and also that there is nothing more important than being true to oneself, although this sometimes leads to going against the opinion of the most.
