The Budapest Advent Fair will have its Grand Opening tomorrow at 2000 square meters in the heart of Budapest at the Vörösmnarty Square.
Something special for local and tourist and of course kids. The visitors may browse through the remarkable items of a craftsmen, and might find unique handcraft as a gift for the coming season, hand-crafted artefacts of folk and applied art, textile and leather works, pottery and jewellery along with designer clothes and accessories.
Around 160 programs awaiting for the visitors. Something special for the arrival of family … may have fun at the crafts playhouse and secret wishes stand … a real fairground atmosphere not to be missed. Sugar and spice and all things nice … sweeter than wine 🙂 … but the plenty on the huge gastronomy table embarrassment captivate for the visitors. Don’t walk by the stand “Vitéz” Chimney Cake … a.k.a. On Saturday, November, 12. 2016, from 11 a.m. at the Vörösmarty Square. – Celebrate the beginning of the Advent Fair together with the public! At 11 a.m. at the Inner City Parish Churchwith the Choir church- and secular choral singing making the day special! Welcome speech and opening of the event by Szalay-Bobrovniczky Alexandra deputy mayor of Budapest. Teodóra Bán – CEO of BFTK greets the visitors, followed by the Hungarian Association of Craft and BFTK fashion show where Ildikó Bényi, Zsuzsanna Dióssy, György Horváth, Réka Kozári, Éva Novodomszky,Dia Somogyi Dia and Balazs Gaskó wil be introducing some of the superb Hungarian craftsmen’s pieces. Each evening there will be live music on the main stage.
