HERALD NEWS … 7TH INTERNATIONAL GALLOP – HUNGARY – 2014.

More to it, something not to be seen anywhere else in the world  just in Budapest – Hungary. Upon the idea and dream of Zoltán Lázar, six-time world  champion Carriage Seabiscuit driver his dream came true with combining the Scythian and the Roman chariot into one chariot to the needs of the 21st century’s race on the tracks. The chariot race has been implemented  into the programs ever since the National Gallop Race was on. Going to be every second an eye-catching  event during the National Gallop.  The audience will be watching a race as  a little reminder of the world-famous movie … Ben Hur. The competitors are not Ben Hur relatives so they had to undergo a tough training in advance. Well tomorrow all who visit the venue and be sharp to watch the ancient Scythian rolling wheel s go by will remember their stay if not just  for this grand sport race in Budapest!

Naturally spending a full day at the International Gallop Race with a dozen of shows and attractions will be worthwhile to attend in any hour!

VENUE: HERO SQUARE – BUDAPEST

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER, 19. – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER, 21.

Roll down to have a look at the forthcoming  week-ends daily schedules.

To-day the press announcement and the draws took place at the magically beautiful Bábolna National Stud Farm  since 1789, whereas the National Gallop organizers and the International Previte 2014 Race competitors were present. Upon the welcoming words by the members of the organizers, the drawn took place. At first the competitors  number of their riding tracks, thereafter which will be their horses to shoot off  and win the competition.  Before heading to the drawing just wish to mention a word or two about the Bábolna National Stud Farm…as already mention it was founded in 1789 and the place became a major horse breeding in Hungary.Ever sinbce its existence the mission was to preserve, promote and develop the values created by the efforts of predecessors. The place is  as a huge jewellery box and well said this place bears centuries old heritage in a traditional environment. This place is well-known throughout the world where horse breeding is the major hometown to the pure-bred Arabian stock namely  known around Europe as the Shagya Arabian bred recognized as an independent bred in 1978.

Rolling back to 2014, after 6 years of having the National Gallop race in Budapest, last year, the organizers wished to wider the attention to the horse riding lovers in having International  Competitors at the National Gallop Race. The attention and the success was so high that the number of foreigner country’s horse riders this year increased from 8 to 12.  Many may remember the winner of the international gallop race of last year was the horse rider from Qatar. This year Qatar joins again to take part at the race. Also joining the event by the  United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria and the United States of America, Uzbekistan and China.

During the magnificent three days show there will be food and drinks of plenty at the Country’s Kitchen opening  already on Friday and just as in the previous years including: celebrity charity race, cavalry gallop, race car as well as a variety of programs for children, young adult, family i.e. for all age the venue is open.
