Prior to the Monyo’s previous online press conference, Monyo sent a “kit” in advance of their latest craft beers. The report and a brief description in a wink will be following:
For many may be well known about MONYO Brewing, which is one of the country’s first new-wave breweries by bringing their creativity for new special craft beers.
Good to know … If curious about the name Monyo and the meaning of the word in English, then found an explanation to „Monyo” = “Energetic, charismatic, ambitious”. It may be misleading, but in the case of Monyo it is largely true.
Before getting into the “kit” of beer flavors, first let’s have a glance on Monyo unique identity labels to their various beer types … Their goal was to create a visual universe label to their beers that was interconnected with its audience and reflected on funny stories to those scenes from cult movies. The graphic design were/are basically based on pop culture characters.
The craft beers are becoming more-and-more popular and who else could be more to be known for its label brand is the MONYO Brewing. MONYO has in use the latest technology, pays close attention to hygiene and uses only best ingredients. MONYO is one of the fastest-growing breweries in Hungary. In the year 2015 won the title „Brewery of the Year”, and received several other foreign awards.
Update concerning the „Kit”
The aroma and taste are outstanding, no wonder cause their tasteful craft beers brewed by local brewers.
MONYO Black Mamba – 6.8% – 0.33L
Among Monyo’s this is one of the regular beer. „Liquid euphoria” Dense and creamy stout with Malagasy bourbon vanilla, lactose and oatmeal. In the first place a strange one, wasn’t sure what to expect. The body is med-low. Black Mamba mouthfeel is smooth, it’s lightly fizzy, teases with nose of vanilla latte, dark chocolate and light roasted coffee beans. Very dark colour, quickly disappearing head. Pleasantly softly crawling into your heart.
MONYO Flying Rabbit American IPA – 6.5% – 0.33L
About the beer … It is the most well-known Hungarian craft IPA Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma and taste is hops, citrus, peach, mango, resin, slightly malty. Medium body, average carbonation. Flying Rabbit is brewed with copious amounts of Citra and Centennial hops, resulting in an intense outburst of tropical fruit and pine, grassy flavors. Overall the Flying Rabbit was born to soar!
SCHATZI – 5.5% – 0.33L
A real, full-bodied Bavarian wheat beer. The banana, clove scents are complemented by a little wheat citrus and restrained bitterness. It’s a perfect refresher after a long day at work or simply to get loose. Great refreshing
MONYO Cherry Hero – 4.3% – 0.33cl/L
The sip felt like a bite into a freshly harvested sour cherry, while the 4.3% alcohol content is also ideal for a “supplementation” lot.
The flavor is mouthwatering especially for beer lovers with experiencing the aroma of fruity taste in beer. Having a little sprinkle of burnt candy sugar and sweet cherry, a note of blackcurrant juice to enjoy the pleasure of its taste.
