New Season Break Through

Tokyo Vice – The first episodes of the new season  suspensefully, elegantly crafted crime drama has taken its time in getting to Hungary, but now surely made it through on HBO Max.

Tony Award winner J.T. The new season of the series created and written by Rogers, starring Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe, is now available on HBO Max.

In addition to Golden Globe nominee Ansel Elgort, Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe and Oscar nominee Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu and Ayumi Ito also appear in the main roles of the series shot in Tokyo.

In a nutshell … Tokyo Vice is based on Jake Adelstein’s sensational 2009 memoir. The Western journalist working for a publication in Tokyo takes on one of the city’s most powerful crime bosses. The series shows with rarely seen rawness and avoiding stereotypes what it’s like for a foreigner to fit in Japan.

The 10-part new season will start with two episodes on the day of the premier, and afterwards to catch up the new episode screened on HBO Max every Thursday.

“The Bridge” – Mission Impossible!?!

Hungarian documentary … „The Bridge” along with 14 strangers have had to build a 250-meter long pathway by their own efforts, without any modern tools and in an unprecedented cooperative effort, to reach the jackpot in the middle of the lake. Two groups devided into teams to start of preliminary gathering materials to completion of construction.

At first seemed as mission impossible, but by the end of the Bridge flowted onwards 250 meters, but the main goal in common was to the competitors drive for the main prize, reaching the jackpot in the middle of the lake worth 30 million Hungarian forints. The reality series of the HBO document will also be shown on the Discovery channel from 18th of January, 2024.

The series will be broadcasted every Thursday night at 10 p.m. with a new episode, which is repeated several times during the week by Discovery. The Bridge was of last year’s most watched popular shows.
