The documentary shows how the DAC club became more than a football club … Today the largest community of Hungarians in Slovakia belongs to be DAC fans, the association is a symbol of the survival and identity of Hungarians in the Highlands.

The documentary presents the history of DAC 1904 FC football club, the fate of Hungarians in Csallóköz and Slovakia, which has always been closely connected to the life of the club. Although 5 different state formations have taken turns in Csallóköz in the past 120 years, the sports club has survived and operated continuously.
Why is it important for Hungarians beyond the border to have a football team where they can attend matches every two weeks and cheer in Hungarian? What does the Dunajská Streda football team mean for Hungarians living in a minority in Hungary? DAC Film answers these questions as well.
