The story in brief … In 1862, the Phoenician airship, Amelia Wren (Felicity Jones) teamed up with pioneering meteorologist James Glaisher (Eddie Redmayne) to advance humanity’s knowledge of the weather and fly higher than anyone in history. As they continue to set records and make new scientific discoveries, their journey to the very edge of existence helps the strange party eventually find their place in a world they have left far behind. During their journey of physical and emotional challenges, ascending air becomes a struggle for survival.
