Key West – Florida – USA
On the occasion of the World Tourism Day the United States of America Embassy partnership with the Discover America Hungarian Committee (DAC for short), organized a workshop on Florida Keys and Key West tourism in Budapest. The DAC was founded in 2010, as the mission of the Discover America Hungary Association to actively support American tourism. The association widely promotes the amazing tourist attractions and activities offered by the United States of America, inspiring travelers to explore the country. DAC works closely with the Budapest’s US Embassy’s Office of Commerce and the US as a tourist destination marketing organization, Brand USA.
The Florida Keys and Key West representatives held previously similar workshop in two countries, earlier in Belgium and Austria before coming to Budapest. They said, last year the number of entries significantly, more than 15 percent increase from Hungary, so they see more potential for local entrepreneurs to Hungarian tourists.
