SALÉTROM GALLERY  – „Saltpeter” – L’OFFICE opens its  GRAPHIX exhibition! 

Address: District VIII. 4, Salétrom Street, Budapest

L’OFFICE is a “green” building a great example again on protecting out environment! The offices are heated and cooled by using the thermal energy of the ground. In L’OFFICE recycled materials were used for the furniture, the interior design and to the functional installations.

Within their monthly events, the cult factory provides a stage for the works of contemporary artists and designers. Creates  a unique opportunity for the members to enjoy the cultural events in their so-called own offices and interact with a wider community.

The SALÉTROM „Saltpeter” scene at the L’OFFICE and the Gaulerie Gauchens Peditis is a Linz-Budapest  joint organization. This time introduced through an exhibition three important contemporary Austrian artists: Mr. Gunter Damisch, Mr. Hubert Scheibl and Mr. Hans Staudacher graphic works.

Mr. Hans Staudacher born in 1923  St. Urban. Austrian born artist. After 1945 he was among the most important innovator.

Mr. Hubert Scheibl, born in 1952, his creative world was different and as a member of the Neue Wilde became famous during his young age.

Mr. Gunter Damisch, born in 1958  Steyr.  His works are characterized by lyricism, and the associative space and applied layers. The Neue Wilde also included as representative of the Austrian painter and is currently a professor at the Vienna Academy of  Fine Arts.

Ms. Nóra Winkler within her opening words said: “Those who have” issues “of contemporary art, this day was certainly marked in red color in their calendar  as not to be missed in Budapest. An exhibition of Austrian artists who have been in the top ten countries of origin are considered among the most important artists.”

Ms. Fanni Magyar,  Hungarian curator and co-ordinator at the Gallery Gaudens Pedit pointed out in her opening speech that the graphic work of these three artists are for the first time to view by the public in Budapest.

The “GRAPHIX” exhibition will be open until November, 30 at the L’OFFICE gallery at the Salétrom (Saltpeter) Street. The exhibition is open by appointment. Needs contact in advance: office@loffice.hu
