This fall “Roar” together at the Katy Perry’s concert movie.
Perry returns to the big screen in a stunning, spectacular concert film. The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris takes viewers on a tour of the sold-out shows at the Accor Arena in Paris in November 2025, bringing the world star closer than ever before. Filmed with over 60 cameras, the production brings to life Katy’s biggest hits, breathtaking sets, spectacular choreography and unique stage solutions. In addition to the energetic performances, the film captures intimate moments with the audience, so the viewer feels like they are enjoying the concert from the front row. The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris is more than a concert film: it is a colorful, immersive celebration of Katy Perry’s music, her energy as a performer and her special connection with her fans.
KatyCats will have only two days to indulge in this 131-minute experience, including exclusive behind-the-scenes bonuses (if you did not attend the Budapest stop in person at the end of October), namely on Wednesday evening, 2nd of September and Saturday afternoon, 5th of September. The premiere screening will start at 7 p.m. in all four Budapest multiplexes of the cinema network, while the weekend repeat will be shown at Cinema MOM at Noontime, and at Lurdy Cinema, Pólus Cinema and GoBuda Cinema at 2 p.m., within the original language. The work, which debuted at the Tribeca Festival in early summer, culminating in joint singing and dancing, was conducted by veteran concert film director Paul Dugdale, who has already worked with the likes of Coldplay, Adele, and Raye, and regular viewers of Pannónia have already been introduced to several of his works, including in connection with Hans Zimmer.
The tour, as the name suggests, will feature a selection from the singer’s entire oeuvre, so songs such as “Teenage Dream”, “California Gurls”, “Dark Horse”, “Roar”, “I Kissed a Girl”, “Woman’s World”, “Firework”, which is already beloved by Hungarians, and “The One That Got Away”, the live performance clip of which was released not long ago is already from the concert film. Her performances spanning 23 countries, consisting of 91 nights, last year, and although there was nothing special about the starting and ending venues, it was considered a major success for the organizers that they were able to squeeze in 6 dates in China despite the strict restrictions on Western performers. Part of the proceeds were donated to charity.
This will be a great opportunity to see-hear the concert for those who tried to be at the Budapest’s MVM but missed it.
