Herald News: DEPECHE MODE M band’s global impact @ Budapest’s Cinemas

DEPECHE MODE: M is a special journey into the depths of Mexican culture’s relationship with death, framed by Depeche Mode’s iconic performances during their 2023 Memento Mori tour. The film was conceived and brought to the screen by award-winning Mexican director Fernando Frías. The production presents the band’s three sold-out concerts in Mexico City, attended by more than 200,000 fans, combining concert footage with short interviews and archival material. DEPECHE MODE: M simultaneously celebrates the band’s global impact and explores the profound connection between music, mortality and Mexican tradition – that sacred meeting point where pain, memory, joy and dance intertwine, boundaries blur and something deeply, beautifully human becomes.
