Saturday.June 27, Saturday in an elegant surrounding a long tables of bottles of wines will be out on display for tasting.  Beside each and every wine has its official score sheet.  Who love wine, love the diversity or simply want to spend a cool relaxing afternoon  in tasting  576 kinds of wine-scented nectar … No this number was not misprinted! The palette is huge … white wines made of aromatic varieties, among late harvest wines and ice wines, among Rosés, or dry reds. Anyway, not sure  of which one to start off, sommeliers  will be there to give advice and to sort things out if needed. Also good to know, that the wines are classified into categories.  So they are corresponding to the regular main categories which are used at major international wine competitions.

Therefore, it is your turn to come around, see, taste all of them … as you please!  Many well-known wine makers will be on the spot to answer question when needed.

The VinAgora was established in 1992 and as a VinoFed member  has become one of the 10 most professionally recognised competitions in the world. With its jury composed of highly experienced individuals from countries all over the world. The number of samples sent to the competition by wine makers has established around 500-600 in the past years.

There is nothing more uplifting than tasting wines while the winemaker presents their product personally.

Most probably for many will be irresistible to taste immediately gold medalist and Champion Prize holder foreign wines?  Also will be a great opportunity to give it a try to taste the best Hungarian wines.

Also at the Wine Gala will have some finger food, a glass of mineral water at all tables.

Finally, if you choose to walk the classic line and start with light, dry whites, you will have a plethora of options.  Take it as a must to try the vibrant “Cserszegi fűszeres” called by many a real Hungarian treasure. Would be a pity to walk on by in not tasting a rather crispy, reductive Furmint that will surely lead the tasters  into the mood? The list would be extremely long to introduce  the whole wines, so better take your walking shoes and see, taste for yourself  and … if you wish to compare VinAgora’s professional judges with your own opinion  you can join to take part in a free  interactive wine professional game. So, “Judge … score by your own taste”
