The most beautiful and delicious pizzas in our country were awarded. Visitors to Kincsem Park (external link) were invited to a special event in several ways. In addition to the fact that the fastest horses and greyhounds will compete against each other on the racetrack for three days, those interested can also try the country’s best rolling kitchens and bars.
Dozens of awards at this year’s Spring Food Truck Show! Within the framework of the event, organized by Lázár Kovács, Chef Lázár, the 1st Hungarian Pizza-Making Championship will be held, where the most beautiful and delicious pizzas of our country will be awarded. What’s more, the Food Truck of the Year award is also given to the audience’s favorite and to the restaurant selected by the professional jury.
15 countries, 50 food trucks, 40 music programs – this year’s Food Truck Show in numbers. May 5-7, 2023 between the greats of rolling gastronomy are represented again at the same time and in one place, nearly 50 food trucks are waiting for everyone at the only horse racing track in our country, Kincsem Park.
The creator and main organizer of the 1st Hungarian Pizza-Making Championship, Lázár Kovács, participated in the World Pizza Championship held in Parma.
“The goal of the domestic championship is to support young pizza chefs and promote their development through competition. Providing an opportunity to prove and gain routine and motivation for those who are not yet able to start at the World Championship,” said Chef Lázár. The most beautiful and delicious pizza in Hungary in the one-round competition with a total prize of HUF 1,000,000.
In addition to delicious snacks, the country’s fastest greyhounds will start on Friday, trotting races will take place on Saturday, and thoroughbreds will play the main role on Sunday. On Saturday, the domestic men’s rugby team will also show itself in a match between Hungary and Latvia.
During the weekend, children can enjoy free programs, petting zoos, pony rides, craft activities, face painting, street musicians and street art performers will provide the atmosphere, and the country’s largest chain carousel will enhance the May atmosphere.
As being told at the end of the 1st Hungarian Pizza Maker Championship will be coming back same place during the first weekend of September the 2nd Hungarian Pizza Maker Championship!
