Zwack Unicum’s exclusive herbal liqueur, Unicum Trezor XO, which debuted in 2024, will be available again in the Unicum Ház sample store and Zwack’s webshop from November 5, 2025. Following the introduction and success of the company’s luxury drink last year, an additional 517 serially numbered bottles will be released this year – this is the last chance for those interested to get their hands on the original series, which has been aged for 10 years since 2013.
The speciality was conceived in memory of Péter Zwack, and was put into barrel exactly one year after his death, as a worthy gesture of remembrance. Due to the aging capacity of the cellar section, the carefully guarded stock of Unicum Trezor XO is put into barrel once a year, in extremely limited quantities. Each year, a limited amount of Unicum, sufficient for a maximum of 2-3 thousand bottles, can be dedicated to the production of the drink.
Unicum Trezor XO has opened a new era in the life of the brand, which has a history spanning several centuries. The herbal liqueur, aged for ten years in oak barrels and then in French wine barrels, is a true masterpiece, in which the traditional recipe and the noblest elements of modern, premium beverage production meet. The drink in the bottle reveals special depths worthy of the “XO” – or “Extra Old” designation: its aroma reveals vanilla, tropical spices and sophisticated woody notes, while its taste is completed by more than 40 medicinal herbs, mature oak and silky chocolate tones. This is a new dimension of Unicum – rich, sophisticated and unique, in which the essence of respect for tradition and Zwack’s professional heritage comes to life.
