The Night of Museums won’t be your average museum visit!
Next weekend, throughout the country largest cultural event will be held once again. During the Night of Museums, participating, cca. 470 public collections. On the weekend closest to the summer solstice, everything will come alive again at the Night of Museums. A diverse offer is guaranteed, as more than 460 institutions are preparing for Hungary’s largest and most popular cultural event with approximately 2700 programs.
For those interested, may take part at venues including concerts, film screenings, interactive events, family and children’s programs, guided tours, workshops and surprises.
The Night of Museums proves year-after-year culture which not only entertains, it shows direction, shapes the soul and brings togetherness.
Usually museums open between 4p.m. – 2 a.m. (check individual venues for exact times)
Entry tickets: Adult wristband – 3000HUF
Child wristband (ages 6-18) – 1500HUF
Free for children under 6 years of age
To make your museum-hopping adventure absolutely comfy … special “MU” sign museum buses run throughout the night, connecting major venues across Budapest. Your event wristband gives you unlimited access to these dedicated routes, so you can focus on exploring without worrying about transportation.
