During this 9 day’s event, the visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the highlights as the most important traditional handicraft products of the Kingdom of Morocco and about Morocco’s landscapes, where the Sea meets the Desert, traditional foods and teas and participating at the Moroccan Exhibition.
Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Budapest presents, for the First Time, the Moroccan Handicraft and Cultural Week, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Handicraft, Air transport and Social Economy, the Maison d’Artisan, the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as the Mayor city office of Budapest.
The 30 artistic and artists presence at the exhibition aims to highlight the Moroccan handicrafts and the creative ability of Moroccan handcrafts e.g. particularly the traditional architecture, copper, colorful ceramic places and pottery master pieces, hand-made furniture, jewelry, argon oil, clothing, and henna just mentioning a couple of things at the event.
Visitors will be able to watch directly how the hand-craftsmen are dedicated to create beautiful handicraft pieces from wood, leather, ceramic or copper and henna painting. During the Moroccan handicraft week also including workshops as to discover the authentic Moroccan customs like Moroccan weddings customs being inherited through generations. Furthermore visitors on the spot may gain an insight to Morocco as a future destination.
Furthermore, during the opening ceremony of the Moroccan Handicraft Week, visitors will have the opportunity to watch the Kaftan Fashion Show presented by the stylist – Ms Sara Zerrouali as unveiling her new collection of her finest creations to the public.
The traditional Morocco fashion show introduce the richness of traditional Moroccan dresses within the Kingdom’s thousand-year-old culture.
