Korean Film Week – Budapest – 2017.

The Korean Cultural Center is organizing a large-scale film festival for the 10th time between October, 25. – 29. 2017. In addition to the 26 films to be screened, in Budapest, following the opening ceremony at the Uránia National Film Theater, the festival will be on out at the Sugár Cinema – Budapest. The premiere of the special women’s characters will be hosted by Premier Cultcafé.
At a closing event of the Korean Film Week in Budapest, the documentary film “Try to Remember”, featuring the work of the first legendary Korean pop singer – The Kim Sisters, that was filmed in Budapest. One of the founders of K-Pop, a pioneer Korean singer, Mia Kim, who is very much popular in the States.The member of the Kim Sisters are currently living in Budapest with her Hungarian-born husband member Tommy Vig – composer and jazz musician.
The documentary will be featured with Hungarian subtitles on October, 28. – 6 p.m. at the Sugár Cinema, and on the 29th at 5 p.m. at the Premier Cultcafé. After the screening, Mia Kim (The Kim Sisters) will be giving a live concert with her orchestra.
