“ÍZVILÁG” RESTAURANT OF FLAVORS … FROM AUSTRIA TO BUDAPEST

ÍZVILÁG! the “Restaurant of Flavors” is an awesome place, characteristic of the Austrian flavors at the

Buda-side of Budapest,  District II. 21, Szépvölgyi Rd.

A newly opened cosy spot which assures the taste of “honey”, I mean the tastes of delightful snack of sandwiches, hot and cold snacks, whether … eat-in … eat-out … take away either for brekky, lunch or suppertime.

Yepp, the Austrians also like to have good food and drinks just like us the Hungarians.

Many in mind prefer to think and call Austria as the country of gourmands!  No wonder, cause many of its regions of the boast of high quality products. No … I wouldn’t wish to stop our locals from hopping over to Austria to have the experience of the real Austrian food, the hut feeling which would take only 3Hs of drive from Budapest, but from now on, needn’t have to travel that far, because from last Friday the flavors from Austria have had arrived to Budapest.

The “ÍZVILÁG” Restaurant held a press and media gathering last week on Friday as to introduced one-of-a-kind,  the newly opened unique restaurant. As the representatives of the press arrived up to the doorstep, we were all welcomed as family members. What a pleasant experience! That ain’t a common way to be welcomed at a press gatherings.  Stepping in this cosy place, immediately felt we are in Austria. First, as greated a non-alcoholic fruity welcome cocktail drink was passed to us, thereafter, taking a few steps from the entrance , the scent of the coffee shops in Austria surely reminder to those who visited Austria. Pitty or not, many Hungarians connect Austria equal with Vienna or thought of their own experiences up high skiing, sloping down on those Tirol mountains or any of those skillful places in Austria and perhaps not too often thought of the variety of flavors Austria has to offer.

The opening started with these words and as it was so well said  … interesting, yet a fact… “Even though Austria is our neighbouring country, we here in Budapest and throughout the country have many Far-East restaurants  and no Austrian culinary restaurants. This will be the first restaurant with the Austrian flavors here in Budapest.” Superb thought and it was about time to bring from across the border our neighbours culinary delights to Budapest in opening the “ÍZVILÁG” Restaurant.

It is not enough to just love the good food. You have to have an excellent handful of individuals who care as much  for providing the cosy place, the staff  to prepare the delicacies, pastry, wine expert, chief and of course all the background personals to make it happen. All the raw materials and especially collected Hungarian wines are carefully selected.

There is an outdoor terrace with  heaters on when the chilly days arrive. Also inside there are 4 platforms. One … as to have a quicky coffee or tea before or after work with a snack.  One … as where there are the folded meat and dairy products which can be purchased at the shop’s desk. One … two lane of crowed shelves holding the wide variety of Hungarian wines from the finest producer’s vineyards. One … as a separate lounge for either planning to organize a small meeting,  or simply relaxing hard after a hard week with a bunch of friends,  having a family call and of course sitting at the “hut”, the Austrian court with your hubby.

Special meals at any time of the day!  Early morning rushing to work, still have time to hop-in and have a bite of warm brekky, or just have it packed and on your way. We were not only told about the grand selection of delightful quicky and delicious snacks, but had been invited to taste as a late brekky the rich in flavors of the hot and cold yummies that  even a royalty would envy us. They also serve a variety of mild and vegetarian cuisine, and for the meat lovers there are features rich in flavors, elegantly served as a one-course meal or choosing from the  day’s shot of menu. Here you surely save time by having the three meals per day and are healthy too. All prepared with fresh and healthy ingredients and in this sence is a lot we can do for our health.

Even when the clock’s hand strikes noon, anyone who wish to enjoy these majestic snacks or menu you will be indeed welcomed . You may also choose, as you wish from the carefully selected 100 piece of  bottles of wines on the shelves to take away.

During the press gathering, it was kindly requestedf to spread the word for those who will be rolling along by car to the” ÍZVILÁG” … “Ain’t no problem where to leave their car, because across the road there is a parking house where they can park their car  free of charge when the service at the restaurant  reach the payment of minimum 3,000HUF.”

Open throughout the weekdays from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

For the take away lovers we were told they have plans for the near future to spread their wings out as fulfilling the home delivery requests.

The day’s menus are served throughout the weekdays between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Free WiFi is available on the spot to stroll down into your inbox whilst just dropping by for a drink, snipping your coffee, tea, beer, cocktail, snack or picking your special wine from the awesome 100 piece of  bottles to ease your thirst.

If … you by now got hungry and excited  to taste these mouth-watering yummies … go, see and let your senses have the experience.
