Two weeks .. Fourteen Days to come for the Sweet Days in Budapest !
There will be a bunch of programs for small children and adults of any age. The scene is the same as last year’s where the Sweet Days were. Up on the Buda hilly side, in the garden and yard area of the Buda Castle. It is one of the best places to visit, also one of the most beautiful panoramas in Europe. Having a glance upon the River Danube and to see the historical buildings, that tells the stories in your tourist guide-book or any tour guide, but if your lucky enough your local Mate will update you on the backgrounds that meet your eyes.
Just a reminder of the couple of programs to attend, see previous update at:

Now, I wish to draw the attention to a sophisticated arrangements which is new this this coming Sweet Days. The organizers decided that the tradition of the Hungarian chocolates have had a great past and today in 2012 they wish to raise to fame by glory with chosing a crowed Queen to continuously represent the Bonbenetti Brand – the Hungarian famous and mouthwatering Cherry Chocolate. Now, within the chocolate this ain’t an ordinary cherry. It is a sour cherry soaked in brandy and then coated with bitter chocolate. Some are craftsman’s confectionery and some are mechanically manufactured. I am absolutely sure those foreigners visiting Hungary who once had the chance to taste it, will never forget the enjoyment of the Cherry Choco made in Hungary. The alcohol content will not cause any problem, unless eating a whole box (250 grams) of Cherry Chocos’.
Alright, back to the future … upon invitation, participated at the press announcement and introduction of the 8 ladies to have been nominated in the competition to be chosen as a representative of the Hungarian Cherry Chocolate, at the Hotel Hilton, Budapest. The “Bonbonetti Group” chocolate representatives, and other invited guests held the press conference. The floor was open by Mr. Sándor Sánta, Bonbonetti Group CEO, President of the Association of the Hungarian Confectionery speaking aboutthe forthcoming Sweets Days (can be read below), Mr. George Füleky, main organizer of the Sweet Days Budapest, Ms. Sylvia Magony, Eventure production – main organizer of the Miss Cherry Queen, Ms. Martha Makány, Fashion Designer, Ms. Agnes Dobó, Miss World Hungary 2010. The 8 ladies were also present. Their age was between 18 and 28.
From Thursday, September, 20 there will be an ongoing audience choice for the audience prize. The audience is called to make their own choice by voting to the most beautiful lady seen on the catwalk and on posters at the “Sweet Days”. The votes can be carried out during Friday, Saturday, September 21-22, at 5 p.m. when the ladies will be walking through the catwalk wearing Ms. Márta Makány, disigner’s, Envy Fashion, Freestyler collections. At 6 p.m. they will show up at the stand of the Bonbonetti Group. Sunday, September, 23. at the day of the “Final Tour”. At first, the show will go off with daytime wear (Envy Fashion), Second: Sporty wear (Freestyler), Third: casual clothing.
It may sound a bit unusual for a Beauty Queen competition without the “beachwears”, instead they will be showing up in sporties. Nice thought for a change by the organizers, as they say … beauty comes from inside and not depending on how many string hold the wear.
The ladies will have a full week to participate at several events. From September 8 untill September 23, the ladies will be taken on a joint tour: Sailing on the Lake Balaton from the port at Balatonfüred, Sunday Brunch at the Hilton Hotel, Chocolate Master’s course at the Bonbonetti HQs, a fashion show at the Hotel Hilton, Body Art and Spinning programs at the Holmes Place, Selecting Personal fragrance at the Croisette Le Perfume with Mr. Zsolt Zólyomi purfume guard, dental screening, baking pastries at the Zsolnay Confectionery with Mr. George Bachmann pastry master, and also will be at the Bonbonetti Sweet Days booth.
So sweet lovers get set and go for your favorite sweeties and give a try, taste teh Cherry Chocos’, don’t be afraid to get soaked in brandy… this time it won’t be dangerous and many will just can’t get enough, love it!
This year Germany will be the Guest of Honor, bringing their delights to show the Hungarians their unique products and to give tips at their stand to the visitors to their forthcoming visit to Germany.
